UltraLites coloration is demonstrated above on several standard UltraGlas textures: UltraSwirl (the larger blue component); UltraSquiggle (the larger guava component); and two more subtle textures, Taffeta and Linen (in the smaller components).
See examples of how multiple translucent colors appear when back-silvered (lustrous!). |

Color and opacity when color is made translucent, the amount of light transmitted is largely determined by three controllable factors: the specific coloration selected; its applied density; and the intensity of the light transmitted through it. Transmitted light always lightens the applied coloration, creating a softer, less saturated hue of the color.
Custom Color matching when planning for coordination with specific opaque colors, it is important to note that specified translucent color will coordinate nicely with but not necessarily match the intensity of its opaque counterpart.
Lighting in artificial light installations, it is recommended that lighting intensity be adjustable, to accommodate normal variations in ambient light and to effect desired ambiance.
