This style demonstrates random brush strokes in the foreground (in any number of specified colors), with or without a background color applied overall (as demonstrated here).
This style also looks great with the foreground brush strokes "softened" (made to "bleed" slightly).
In the translucent example at left, the light and dark (from left to right) is a result of light seen through the glass texture and color.
