This artful style features the random application of specified colors that have been "softened" overall. When applied colors are softened, they tend to "bleed" together — much like the effect achieved in watercolor paintings.
The introduction of accent "splotches" (shown here in a deep red color) is a result of introducing raw pigment to the space. Should you choose, this step may be omitted.
