UltraGlasTile®, created by our heat-molding process, imparts a textured or sculpted embossed effect. The texture, or slumping, may be specified on the bottom surface, so as to be viewed through the glass, or on the top surface, to provide a tactile surface with greater coefficient of friction for floor and stair tread installations.
UltraGlasTile is typically thicker and much more luminous and textured than other glass tiles. Usually 5/16” thick — it may also be specified in greater thickness and sizes for slab-type installations. UltraGlasTile will impart a more fluid and liquid appearance than other glass tiles, due to the high quality and low-iron glass that we utilize.
